Terms of Use

Version 1.2 · effective 21 October 2026 · bundle 40496e96b33d

The terms on which you may use appsithink.com, the company website of Apps I Think. It is a site you read: there are no accounts, nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy here. These terms cover reading it, writing to the addresses on it, and what happens if a commercial conversation becomes a contract.

1Who you are agreeing with

appsithink.com is operated by Apps I Think, a Sole Proprietorship, referred to here as "we" or "the company".

Apps I Think operates two consumer products, inaff and commentrs. Those products are not legal entities. They are things this company makes, and this company is the party on the other side of any agreement you enter into with either of them.

These terms apply only to appsithink.com. The products have their own, and yours with them is a different agreement with different rules. inaff's are at inaff.app/legal and commentrs' are at commentrs.com/terms. Nothing on this page changes either.

By using appsithink.com you accept these terms. On your first visit the home page asks you to accept them, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie policy, before it opens; your browser remembers the answer so you are asked only once, and asked again when these documents change. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. There is nothing else you need to do, because there is no account to close.

2What this site is

It is a company page. It describes what Apps I Think makes, how it works, and how to reach it for commercial and legal matters.

It is not a product, it is not a shop and it does not hold an account for you. Nothing here can be bought, subscribed to or signed up for.

It is also deliberately simple in a way that matters for the rest of this document: the site is a small number of static files. It sets no cookies and has no forms, and its only script is the card that asks you to accept these terms. Several clauses that would normally be necessary are absent because the thing they would govern does not exist here.

We may change the site, including these terms, at any time. The current version is always the one published at this address, and each document carries a version number and the date it took effect.

3Who may use it

Anyone may read appsithink.com. There is no minimum age to read a company page and we do not ask for one, because asking would mean collecting something.

The products are a different matter and have their own age rules, which are enforced in the products and not here. inaff is 18+. commentrs is 13+.

If you write to us at one of the addresses on the site, you confirm that you are old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, or that a parent or guardian has agreed on your behalf.

4What you may do with the content of this site

You may read it, link to it, quote it fairly with attribution, and print it.

You may not copy the site or substantial parts of it to publish elsewhere, present it as your own, or use our name, logo or design system to imply a relationship, endorsement or partnership that does not exist.

Journalists, analysts and researchers may quote from this site and describe it without asking. If you want the logo as an image file or a written statement for a piece, write to partnerships@appsithink.com and ask.

Section 4 of the Copyright policy sets out what we own and how to report material that you believe infringes your rights.

5The two addresses, and what each is for

partnerships@appsithink.com is for commercial and press matters: brands, venues, media, creators, and anything with a contract at the end of it. A person reads it.

support@appsithink.com is for serious matters: a problem that a product's support ticket has not solved, a payment you made without receiving what you paid for, a request to delete your data or to exercise another right over it, a legal complaint, and formal legal notice, including notice that somebody must serve before starting proceedings. A person reads every message, nothing is automated, and nothing is answered by a machine.

Everyday support for inaff and for commentrs starts with a ticket inside each product, because a ticket has a number and a state that both sides can see, and it works without an account and on a banned device. Each product also has its own address for the serious matters above, support@inaff.app and support@commentrs.com. Trying a ticket first is a suggestion and never a condition: a data request or a legal notice sent straight to any of these addresses is valid.

Writing to either address does not create a contract, a partnership, a confidentiality obligation or a legal relationship by itself. Only a signed agreement does that.

The Acceptable Use policy sets out how these addresses may be used and what happens if they are misused. It also sets out, in the clearest terms we can write, the categories of message that are never treated as misuse whatever we think of the sender.

6Commercial conversations and what they are not

A quotation, a rate card, a media pack or an indicative price given in an email or on this site is an invitation to discuss and not a binding offer. Prices, availability and terms can change until they are written into a signed agreement.

Where we do enter into a commercial agreement, that agreement governs. If anything in it conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement wins for the parties to it.

Anything you send us unsolicited, including ideas, proposals, feature suggestions and business plans, is treated as non-confidential unless we have signed something that says otherwise. We are not able to run a business that makes two consumer products while also accepting a confidentiality obligation from every message that arrives.

That is not a claim of ownership over your idea. It means only that we are not restricted from working on things we were already working on, or that somebody else sends us, or that are obvious in the market.

7Accuracy, and what we do not promise

We try to keep this site accurate and we correct it when it is wrong. Product descriptions, figures and rules on this site are summaries. The authoritative version of any product rule is in that product's own documents and in the product itself.

The site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that it is fit for any particular purpose you have in mind.

Where a statement on this site is about a product, and that product's own documents say something different, the product's documents are correct and we would like to know about the discrepancy. support@appsithink.com is the address for that.

8Links to other sites

This site links to inaff.app and commentrs.com, which we operate, and may link to third party sites that we do not.

We are not responsible for the content, terms or privacy practices of a site we do not operate. A link is not an endorsement.

9Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Several countries do not permit some of the limits below, and where that is so, they do not apply to you.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill or loss of data arising from your use of this site.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with this site and these terms is limited to 100 USD, which reflects that this site is provided free of charge and that nothing is sold through it.

This clause does not limit our liability under a signed commercial agreement. That agreement sets its own limits and they are the ones that apply between its parties.

10Your consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you have rights under the law of the country you live in that a contract cannot take away, including rights about unfair terms and about how a business must deal with you.

Nothing in these terms affects those rights. Where a term here is less favourable to you than a protection your local law gives you, your local law applies and that term does not.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and the courts of the courts of New Castle County, Delaware have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

If a term of this document is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the document continues to apply.

12Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The version and effective date at the top of this document change when we do, and the current version is always the one published here.

There is no account here to notify, so there is nothing we can send you and nothing to re-accept. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version. If you have a signed agreement with us, changes to this document do not change that agreement.

The products work differently and give notice properly, because they do have accounts. inaff records your acceptance against a digest of the exact text of its four documents, so changing a single word re-asks everybody automatically.
